We are delighted to invite you to the 4th edition of the “Progress and Innovations in Ophthalmology” Forum,an event that has established itself over the years as a reference point in Romanian and Central European ophthalmology.
Following the remarkable success of the first three editions, we aim to continue the tradition of scientific excellence by highlighting the latest discoveries, cutting-edge technologies, and innovative approaches in the diagnosis and treatment of ophthalmic conditions.
The scientific program will include sessions dedicated to all ophthalmology subspecialties, delivered by renowned international experts, hands-on workshops, and demonstrations of modern technologies. Together, we will explore the latest advances in cataract surgery, retinal management, innovative glaucoma therapies, advanced corneal surgery techniques, and much more.
The event will be accredited with CME credits by the Romanian College of Physicians.

GKS will dedicate two days to the keratoconus subspecialty in ophthalmology,organizing a series of interactive workshops and practical training sessions focused on screening, diagnosis, early detection, and management strategies for this condition.
The event will take place on December 8–9, 2026 and will be an integral part of the Forum “Progress and Innovations in Ophthalmology” Forum held on December 10–12, 2026.
Under the scientific guidance of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Armia and a distinguished group of international experts, participants will have the opportunity to explore the most recent techniques and strategies in keratoconus management.
For these two days, CME credits will be awarded by the Romanian College of Physicians.
